-- Remove the luggage compartment side trim panels. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the spare tire well trim. Refer to SPARE TIRE WELL TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the rear bumper cover. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Disconnect the connector -2-.
-- Remove the nut -1- and free up the ground wire -4-.
-- Press the grommet -3- outward.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.
-- Guide the wiring harness -2- out of the opening in the body.
-- Remove the impact member -1- with help from a second technician.
