Bumper Cover, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

A6: Quantity: 7
A7 Sportback: Quantity: 5

-- Push in the front wheels and loosen the wheel housing liner near the front bumper cover. Refer to OVERVIEW - FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER .

-- Remove the screw -2-.

-- Disconnect the connectors -1-.

-- Place a drip tray under the right hose coupling for the washer fluid hose.

-- Slide the clip -2- out and disconnect the washer fluid hose for the laser distance regulation control module -1-.

-- Seal the hose couplings with clean plugs from the :VAS6122 .

-- Right side: if equipped, disconnect the connector -arrow-.

-- Remove the lock carrier cover. Refer to LOCK CARRIER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Slide out the clamp -2- and disconnect the washer fluid hose -1- for the night vision system camera.

-- Disconnect the connectors -1, 2 and 4- and free up the wiring harness.

- Discharge static electricity by briefly touching the door striker.

-- Disconnect the connector -3- by removing the connector lock and pressing it down.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Disengage the side piece from the front side panel -arrow A- and remove the bumper cover -1- with the help of a second technician -B arrows-.
