Vibration Damper, Removing And Installing: Installing

CAUTION:

Risk of destroying the engine with the friction disc not being installed.

- Check the installation of the friction disc (diamond disc) between the vibration damper and the camshaft stub.

Replace the bolts that were tightened with an additional turn after removing them.
Replace the friction disk (diamond disc) after removal.

-- Place the vibration damper -1- with a new friction disk (diamond disc) -2- on the crankshaft -3- and secure with a new bolt, at the same time pay attention to the alignment pin -arrow-.

-- Place the Adapter :T40330/5 with Counterholder :T40330/1 on the vibration damper and secure using the M8x35 bolt -arrow- (23 Nm), to do so place the Spacer Sleeve :T40330/3 underneath.

-- Tighten the vibration damper bolt -1-.

-- Remove the bolt -arrow- and remove the counterholder.

-- Install the ribbed belt for the starter generator Refer to STARTER GENERATOR RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
