Longitudinal Member Coolant Pipe, Right, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Drain the coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .

-- Removing the right charge air cooler. Refer to CHARGE AIR COOLER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the tower brace. Refer to TOWER BRACE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Equipped on some models: remove the parking/auxiliary heater. Refer to the appropriate service information .

-- Equipment version without parking/auxiliary heater. Lift the clamp -arrow-, then remove the rear right coolant hose and push to the side.

-- If installed, disconnect the connector -arrow- for the Tank Ventilation Pressure Sensor 1 -G950-, then free up the wire.

-- Free up the wiring harness for the 48 volt systems a the coolant pipe.

-- Free up the wiring harness at the timing chain cover and push to the side.

-- Equipment version without parking/auxiliary heater: Free up the connector -3- for the Coolant Recirculation Pump - V50-.

-- Remove the nuts -1 and 4- and the bolt -2-.

-- Loosen the hose clamps -arrows- and remove the coolant pipe.
