Cam Actuator, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
- Check the O-ring for damage.
-- Bring the cam actuator pin into the installation position.
- The cam actuator pin must be pushed in completely -arrows-.
-- Place the cam actuator in the guide in the camshaft housing align and press it on until the O-ring aligns.
-- Slowly press again until the cam actuator makes full contact.
TIP:
If pressed in quickly a pin can unintentionally move.
CAUTION:
Risk of damaging the camshaft housing by tilting the cam actuator.
- Never insert the cam actuator with the bolts in the camshaft housing.
