Starter Generator Ribbed Belt, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the A/C compressor ribbed belt from the vibration damper. Refer to A/C COMPRESSOR RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
CAUTION:
Risk of destroying a used ribbed belt by reversing the running direction.
- Mark the running direction before removal.
- Pay attention to the running direction when reinstalling.
-- Turn the tensioner clockwise -arrow- using the Torx Socket - T60: T40087 to release the tension on the ribbed belt.
Audi RS6/RS7:
-- Position an open end wrench SW 22 onto the Torx Socket - T60: T40087 .
All:
-- Lock the tensioner using the Locking Pin: T10060A and remove the ribbed belt.
