Central Tube
Bolt
- Quantity: 3
- 6 Nm
Electronic Steering Column Lock Control Module -J764-
- Removing and Installing. Refer to Electronic Steering Column Lock Control Module -J764-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Power Adjustable Steering Column Control Module -J866-
- Removing and Installing. Refer to Power Adjustable Steering Column Control Module -J866-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Steering Column
- Removing and Installing. Refer to STEERING COLUMN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Check for damage. Refer to STEERING COLUMN, CHECKING FOR DAMAGE .
Bolt
- Quantity: 4
- Tightening specification and sequence. Refer to STEERING COLUMN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Bolt
- Replace after removing
- Clean the threaded hole (for example, using a thread tap) before installing the new bolt.
- Install the bolt first by hand in the first threads. Check the if the steering intermediate shaft is seated correctly by pulling. Tighten the bolt.
- 20 Nm +90°

- Quantity: 2
- 4.5 Nm

- Replace after removing
