Rear Axle Steering Gear, Moving Into Zero Position

An angle up to 4.8° is still possible when the vehicle is stationary. Therefore, the rear axle steering gear must be brought into the zero position before an axle alignment or before calibrating any driver assistance systems.

This is the only way to ensure that the rear axle steering is in the straight-ahead position.
