Rear Axle Steering Gear, Moving Into Zero Position
WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2022 Audi SQ7, 2022 Audi Q7, 2021 Audi SQ7, 2021 Audi Q7, and 2020 Audi SQ7. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
An angle up to 4.8° is still possible when the vehicle is stationary. Therefore, the rear axle steering gear must be brought into the zero position before an axle alignment or before calibrating any driver assistance systems.
- This is the only way to ensure that the rear axle steering is in the straight-ahead position.
