Rear Bonded Rubber Bushing For Rear Final Drive, Removing And Installing: Removing

- Vehicles with active suspension: pay attention to the safety precautions. Refer to SAFETY PRECAUTIONS WHEN WORKING ON VEHICLES WITH ACTIVE SUSPENSION .
-- Air suspension: remove the rear axle steering. Refer to REAR AXLE STEERING GEAR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the rear final drive. Refer to the appropriate service information .
-- Remove the nuts -arrows-, and remove the cover -1- for the air supply unit.
-- Unclip the air filter -1- from the bracket and push to the side with the hoses still connected -arrows-.
-- Install the Puller - Differential Bearing :T40032 and Rear Bushing Tool :T40033 on the bonded rubber bushing and on the subframe, as shown.
-- Remove the bonded rubber bushing from the subframe.
