Right SUBFRAME Shield, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION .

-- Remove the drive axle cover. Refer to OVERVIEW - FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER .

Equipped on Some Models:

-- Disconnect the connector -3-.

-- Remove the bolt -1- and move the level control system sensor to the side.

Continuation for All: 

-- Loosen the front wheel housing liners in the front area. Refer to OVERVIEW - FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER .

-- Free up the wiring duct -4- on the right coolant pipe and on the subframe.

-- Remove the nut -2- and bolt -3- and press the right coolant pipe up slightly on the subframe.

-- Loosen the threaded connections -arrows-.

-- Remove the shield -1- toward the right side.
