Left SUBFRAME Shield, Removing And Installing, Version With 3.0L TDI Engine: Removing

-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION .

-- Remove the drive axle cover. Refer to OVERVIEW - FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER .

-- Disconnect the connector -3-.

-- Remove the bolt -1- and move the level control system sensor to the side.

-- Loosen the threaded connections -arrows-.

-- If installed, free up the bracket -3- with the SCR delivery line and the bracket -2- with the Transmission Fluid Cooling Valve - N509-.

-- Remove the shield -1- toward the left side.
