Axle Alignment Procedure
The "complete alignment" mode must be selected on the Wheel Alignment Computer if an axle alignment needs to be performed together with the driver assist systems adjustment/calibration.
The sequence of procedure steps must be followed.
| 1 - | Drive the vehicle "straight" onto the alignment rack. Switch off the ignition only when the vehicle has come to a stop. |

| 2 - | Versions with air suspension: initiate and lock standard vehicle height. Refer to STANDARD VEHICLE HEIGHT, INITIATING AND LOCKING . |
| 3 - | Move the rear axle steering gear into the zero position. Refer to REAR AXLE STEERING GEAR, MOVING INTO ZERO POSITION . |
| 4 - | Only align the rear axle steering gear if the rear axle steering gear threaded connection has been loosened. Refer to REAR AXLE STEERING GEAR, ALIGNING . |
| 5 - | Perform wheel run-out compensation. Refer to WHEEL RUN-OUT COMPENSATION . |
| 6 - | Check the maximum steering angle. Refer to MAXIMUM STEERING ANGLE, CHECKING . |
| 7 - | Check the rear axle camber and adjust if necessary. Refer to REAR AXLE CAMBER, ADJUSTING . |
| 8 - | Check rear axle toe and adjust if necessary. Refer to REAR AXLE TOE, ADJUSTING . |
| 9 - | Check front axle camber and adjust if necessary. Refer to FRONT AXLE CAMBER, CENTERING . |
| 10 - | Check the front axle toe and adjust if necessary. Refer to FRONT AXLE TOE, ADJUSTING . |
| 11 - | When the adjustment on the suspension is changed:

| 12 - | If settings on the rear axle have been changed, the driver assistance systems must be adjusted/calibrated. Due to the distance between the vehicle and the Setting Device Basic Set :VAS6430
