Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor on Radiator Outlet -G83-, EMOVING AND INSTALLING

Removing

The engine is cold.

-- To reduce the residual pressure in the cooling system, briefly open the coolant expansion tank cap -1- by releasing the retainer -arrow- if necessary.

-- Disconnect the connector -2-.

-- Place a cloth underneath to catch any escaping coolant.

-- Remove the bolt -1- and the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor on Radiator Outlet -G83-.

Replace the O-rings after removing them.

-- To prevent coolant loss, install the new coolant temperature sensor immediately.

-- Check the coolant level. Refer to Coolant Level, Checking .

Tightening Specifications
