Vacuum Pump, Removing And Installing, 2.9L/3.0L TFSI Engine: Removing

-- Remove the upper air duct pipe. Refer to AIR DUCT PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- 2.9L engine: remove the lower air duct pipe. Refer to AIR DUCT PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Loosen the hose clamp -1-, remove the vacuum line and do not damage it while doing so.

TIP:

• Do not damage the vacuum hose.
• A damaged vacuum hose must be replaced.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the vacuum pump.
