Front Seat, Removing And Installing: Installing
Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:
-- Check the seat position sensor for damage.
- Slide the connectors on until they click into place.
- Manual front seat: the seat rails for the seat forward/back adjustment must engage parallel to each other.
-- Lift the front seat into the vehicle with the help of a second technician and align it.
CAUTION:
Pyrotechnical components can deploy unintentionally.
There is a risk of injury.
- Discharge static electricity by briefly touching the door striker.
-- Connect the connectors on the connector station in the floor.
1 - For Versions with Rear Seat Entertainment
2 - Thorax airbag
3 - Seat Belt Latch/Seat Position Sensor
5 -Power Supply
6 - For Versions with Seat Heating
-- Tighten the front bolts in the sequence -1 and 2-.
-- Move the front seat all the way forward and up.
-- Tighten the rear bolts in the sequence -3 and 4-.
- If the instrument cluster indicates a fault in the airbag system after assembly, the DTC memory must be checked, erased, and then checked again. Refer to Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
