Engine Oil, Filling

CAUTION:
Pressing the accelerator pedal too soon after the oil change damages the engine.
- Run the engine in idle as long as the indicator lamp for engine oil pressure in the instrument cluster is turned on.
- Only increase the RPM when the indicator lamp goes out.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
- Oil Funnel :VAS 6842A
- Connecting Piece :VAS 6842A/5
Refer to the ELSA Maintenance Table for engine-specific oil capacities and standards.
Procedure:
-- Fill the engine oil using the Oil Funnel :VAS 6842 or with Connecting Piece :VAS 6842A/5 (for 1.5 TFSI).
-- Then check the oil level and correct if necessary. Refer to ENGINE OIL LEVEL, CHECKING AND CORRECTING IF NECESSARY .
NOTE:
The specified oil quantity in the Maintenance Table refers to the oil change and is not identical to the engine oil capacity at the initial filling.
