Flywheel, Removing And Installing: Removing

- The transmission is removed. Refer to TRANSMISSION, REMOVING .
CAUTION:
Risk of destroying the flywheel due to improper handling.
- Never remove the bolts with an air or impact wrench.
- When removing the bolts, make sure that the bolt head does not come in contact with the flywheel.
-- Turn the flywheel -A- so that the bolts -B- line up with the center of the holes -arrows-.
-- Place the Flywheel Retainer:3067 into the hole on the cylinder block -item B-.
-- Loosen and remove the bolts for the flywheel.
