Engine, Supporting In Installation Position

Engine Support Bridge:10-222 A

Procedure

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Release the retainer -arrow- and remove the engine cover mount -1-.

Vehicles with Secondary Air System:

-- Remove the washer fluid reservoir filler neck. Refer to WASHER FLUID RESERVOIR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Position the Engine Support Set:10-222B on the left and right fender bolting edges as shown.

-- Engage the Engine Support Bridge - Spindle Engine Support Bridge - Spindle:10-222A/11 to the engine lifting eyes, or the Shackle (Equivalent to VAS691009A):VAS 691 009A .

-- Slightly pretension the engine/transmission assembly with the spindle, do not lift.

Assembling

Assemble in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- If removed, install the washer fluid reservoir filler neck. Refer to WASHER FLUID RESERVOIR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
