1. Bolt
   • Tightening Specifications:
     • Steel bolt 9 Nm
     • Aluminum bolt 4 Nm +45°
   • Replace after removing
2. Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 -N205-
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 -N205-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
   • Replace the O-ring -item  : O-Ring.
3. Seal
   • Replace after removing
   • Coat with oil before assembly
4. Upper Timing Chain Cover
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to TIMING CHAIN COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, ENGINE WITH ONE CAMSHAFT ADJUSTER .
5. Cap
6. Seal
   • Replace after removing
7. Bolt
   • Tightening Specifications and Sequence. Refer to Fig 2.
8. Seal
   • Replace if damaged
9. O-Ring
   • Replace after removing
   • Coat with oil before assembly
10. Engine
11. Alignment Pins
    • For centering the cover
12. Lower Timing Chain Cover
    • Replacing. Refer to LOWER TIMING CHAIN COVER, REPLACING .
13. Seal
    • Replacing. Refer to VIBRATION DAMPER SEAL, REPLACING .
    • For the vibration damper
14. Plugs
    • Replace after removing
15. Bolt
    • Tightening specifications and sequence
      • With 15 bolts. Refer to Figure.
      • With 8 bolts. Refer to Figure.
    • Replace after removing
16. O-Ring
    • Replace after removing
    • Coat with oil before assembly
17. Oil Dipstick Tube
18. Bolt
    • 9 Nm

-- Tighten the bolts -1 to 6- in the sequence shown to 9 Nm.
