- Do not disconnect the brake hose when replacing a brake pad

- Clean any corrosion from the sealing surface on the brake caliper
- Brake Hose
- Replace if damaged
- Make sure the brake hose is routed correctly. Make sure the brake hose is not pinched, bent, twisted or rubbing against the vehicle.
- Make sure that tabs are properly seated in the grooves on the bracket.

- With standard tool: 14 Nm
- With special tool. Refer to Fig 2 12 Nm
- Replace a damaged or bent brake line
- Do not change the bending shape.

- Always replace on both axles, at the same time the brake pads must also be replaced
- Allocation. Refer to the Parts Information.
- Wear limit. Refer to TECHNICAL DATA, BRAKES .
- Do not use excessive force to separate the brake rotor from the wheel hub. Use rust remover, if necessary, otherwise the brake rotor could be damaged.
- Refer to BRAKE ROTOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, ALL STEEL BRAKES

- Brake Carrier
- Coat the running surface for the brake pads thinly with Grease. Refer to the Parts Information for the allocation.
- Brake Pads
- Always replace on both axles.
- Allocation. Refer to the Parts Information.
- Check the pad thickness. For the wear limit. Refer to BRAKE PADS, CHECKING THICKNESS
- Refer to BRAKE PADS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, SINGLE-PISTON BRAKE
- Inner right brake pad with brake pad wear sensor
