Overview - Vacuum Pump, 4-Cylinder Engine

The 2.0L TFSI engine contains a mechanical vacuum pump. The illustration shows these engines.
The TDI engines have a mechanical vacuum pump that is combined into one unit with the oil pump. Removing and Installing. Refer to the appropriate Service Information .

High Pressure Pump
- Removing and Installing. Refer to HIGH PRESSURE PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Seal
- Always replace

- Replace the vacuum hose if damaged
- With Vacuum Sensor -G608-
- Vacuum Sensor -G608-, Removing and Installing. Refer to Vacuum Sensor -G608-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
O-Ring
- Replace after removing.

- 9 Nm
Vacuum Pump
- The vacuum pump is mechanically driven.
- Vacuum System, Checking. Refer to VACUUM SYSTEM, CHECKING .
- Removing and Installing. Refer to VACUUM PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
