Timing Chain Cover, Removing And Installing, Engine With Two Camshaft Adjusters: Removing

Preliminary work may be required depending on the model. Refer to TIMING CHAIN COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the camshaft adjustment valves. Refer to Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 -N205-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Free up the clip -2- for the wiring harness.

-- Remove the bolt -1-.

-- If necessary, unclip the oil dipstick tube from the upper timing chain cover in direction of -arrow-.

-- Remove the bolts -1 through 6- and the upper timing chain cover.
