Depending on the model, preliminary work may be required. Refer to COOLANT PUMP TOOTHED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the Oil Pressure Switch, Level 3 -F447-. Refer to Oil Pressure Switch, Level 2 -F446- /Oil Pressure Switch, Level 3 -F447-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

• Pay attention to the direction or rotation: the bolts for the drive wheel have left-hand threads - there is a risk of damaging the threads.

-- Remove the bolt on the drive wheel -1- for the coolant pump and loosen three turns in direction of -arrow-. Use Torque Wrench 1410: VAG1410  and Torque Wrench 1331 Insert - Ring Wrench - 12mm: T10360  .

-- Remove the toothed belt -2-.
