Tie Rod, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Before starting the procedures, determine the curb weight position. Refer to VEHICLES WITH COIL SPRINGS, CHECKING THE CURB WEIGHT POSITION FOR AXLE ALIGNMENT .

-- Remove the applicable wheel. Refer to WHEELS AND TIRES .

-- Loosen the bolts for the stabilizer bar and push the stabilizer bar to the side. Refer to STABILIZER BAR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Loosen the nut -1- and the bolt -3- several turns.

-- Remove the nut -1- and then remove the bolt -4- to the rear.

-- Remove the bolt -3-.

-- Remove the tie rod -2-.
