Brake Master Cylinder, Removing And Installing, Electromechanical Brake Booster: Installing
Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
- Replace the self-locking nuts after removing.
- Replace the O-ring between the master brake cylinder and the brake booster.
- Do not let any brake fluid run into the brake booster.
-- When inserting the brake master cylinder, make sure the pushrod is seated correctly in the brake booster.
-- Bleed the brake system. Refer to HYDRAULIC SYSTEM, BLEEDING .
CAUTION:
Faulty brakes increase the risk of an accident.
- Make sure the brakes are working correctly before driving the vehicle for the first time.
