Tunnel Heat Shield, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Loosen the front underbody trim panels. Refer to OVERVIEW - UNDERBODY TRIM PANELS .

-- Remove the front and rear tunnel brace -2 and 3-. Refer to TUNNEL BRACE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the rear section of the exhaust system. Refer to OVERVIEW - MUFFLER .

-- If equipped, remove the driveshaft. Refer to DRIVESHAFT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Loosen the lock washers -4- and remove the tunnel heat shield -1- toward the rear.
