Driveshaft Heat Shield, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Loosen the underbody trim panels in the tunnel area. Refer to OVERVIEW - UNDERBODY TRIM PANELS .

-- Remove the rear tunnel brace. Refer to OVERVIEW - UNDERBODY BRACING .

-- Remove the union nut -arrow- for the pressure line.

-- Loosen the clamping sleeve -arrow- and push it toward the rear.

-- Remove the lock washers -arrows-.

-- Free up the wire -2- on the heat shield.

-- Remove the heat shield -1- to the rear.
