Sunroof Shades, Removing And Installing, Q3 SPORTBACK: Removing

-- Remove the glass panel. Refer to GLASS PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, Q3 SPORTBACK .

-- Guide the sunroof shade all the way toward the rear -item 2-.

-- Then guide the sunroof shade forward to dimension -a- back into -item 1-.

• Dimension -a- = approximately 70 mm.

-- Press down carefully to release the retainer -1- and move the bow -2- to the side -arrow A- until the bow is pulled out of the carrier on the other side.

-- Lift the bow -1- -arrow A- and slide it in the -direction of arrow B- until it releases from the carrier on the opposite side.

-- Guide the sunroof shade material -2- forward from under the carrier -3-.

-- Place the sunroof shade toward the front.

-- Remove the bolts -6 and 8-.

-- In the center of the carrier -4-, push on the lever -2- -arrow- and at the same time, remove the gear carrier -7- toward the rear out of the sunroof shade frame -5- while the slider -3- is pulled forward.

-- Repeat the procedure on the opposite side.

-- Remove the sunroof shade -1-.
