Outer Rear Seat Backrest Locking Mechanism, Removing And Installing, A3: Removing

-- Remove the locking mechanism trim. Refer to LOCKING MECHANISM TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry the clamping strips -1 and 2- for the backrest cover out of the locking mechanism.

-- Remove the bolts -4-.

-- Remove the retainer -3- from the backrest frame.
