Release Button in Rear Lid Handle -E234-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Remove the license plate.

-- Remove the rear lid lower trim panel. Refer to REAR LID LOWER TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Equipped on some models: remove the rear lid closing aid motor. Refer to Rear Lid Closing Aid -VX16-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connector -2-.

-- Equipment versions with rearview camera: disconnect the antenna wire -2- and the connector -1-.

-- Disconnect the connector -3-.

-- Release the side tabs -arrows A- and remove the button -1- outward in direction of -arrow B-.
