Overview - Mobile Online Services, NZ2/NZ3/NZ4, From My 2020

The mobile online services are based on the Control Module for Emergency Call Module and Communication Unit -J949-.

The Control Module for Emergency Call Module and Communication Unit -J949- is safeguarded against a crash by being installed behind the A/C controls. The Control Module for Emergency Call Module and Communication Unit -J949- contains an emergency call module and a compass module. A separate SIM card for the emergency call function is installed.

   • Telematics Emergency Battery - A16- installed in the Control Module for Emergency Call Module and Communication Unit -J949-

   • Under the rear bumper cover on the right side

4. Left Front Microphone -R140- /Right Front Microphone -R141-, in the Front Roof Module -WX3-.

Troubleshooting

Fault Finding is performed using the "Guided Fault Finding"  on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

When there are concerns about the function, it necessary to be familiar with the Mobile Online Services functions.
