Cabriolet Convertible Top End Panel, Lubricating

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Grease: G 060 751 A2 
• Commercially available brush: approximately 15 mm wide and angled with workshop tools to approximately 40°

Protect the vehicle interior from dirt.

Procedure: 

-- Move the convertible top into a half-open position.

-- Remove any remaining grease and dirt on the locking hooks and guide bushing with a lint-free cloth.

-- Lubricate the locking hooks at the marked location -arrows- using Lubricating Paste: G 060 751 A2  and a brush.

-- Lubricate the guide bushing at the marked location -arrows- using Lubricating Paste: G 060 751 A2  and a brush.

-- Remove excess lubricant from all lubrication points.

-- Repeat the procedure for the opening on the opposite side of the vehicle.

-- Close the convertible top.
