12 V Socket 4 -U20- /12 V Socket 5 -U26-, REPLACING: Removing

-- The release tabs -2- of the : T40148  must engage in the recesses of the 12 V Socket -3- -arrow-, for this the threaded rod -1- must be pushed down all the way.

-- Open the mount cover -2- and hold it in that position.

-- Slide the : T40148  all the way into the 12 V socket -3-.

-- Turn the thumbwheel -1- at the : T40148  clockwise all the way to the end stop.

• The plunger -2- is pulled up and the release tabs -1- are spreading in the Cigarette Lighter Release Tool: T40148  -arrows-.

-- Remove the 12 V socket from the luggage compartment side trim panel cover.

-- Disconnect the connector.
