12 V Socket 2 -U18- /12 V Socket 3 -U19-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Remove the center console rear trim. Refer to CENTER CONSOLE REAR TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Socket trim: remove the blind cover.

-- Socket folding compartment: open the folding compartment and remove the lighter.

-- The release tabs -2- on the : T40148  must engage in the openings on the cigarette lighter -3- in direction of -arrow-. To do so, the threaded rod -1- must be slid all the way down.

-- Slide the : T40148  all the way into the cigarette lighter -1-.

-- Turn the thumbwheel -2- at the : T40148  clockwise all the way to the end stop.

• The plunger -2- is pulled up and the release tabs -1- are spreading in the : T40148  in direction of -arrows-.

-- Remove the cigarette lighter from the illumination ring with the Socket Illumination Bulb -L42- using the : T40148  .

-- Guide the wire out through the mount.
