Remote Backrest Release With Release Cable, Removing And Installing, A5 Cabriolet: Removing

-- Pull the lever -1- and unlock the rear seat backrest.

-- Hold the lever pulled and remove the screw -2-.

-- Pry out the remote backrest release from the luggage compartment side trim panel in direction of -arrow- and disengage the release cable.

-- Unclip the release cable bracket from the luggage compartment side trim panel with a screwdriver.

-- Remove the convertible top compartment side trim panel. Refer to CONVERTIBLE TOP COMPARTMENT SIDE TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the rear panel trim panel. Refer to REAR PANEL REAR TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the rear seat backrest locking mechanism. Refer to REAR SEAT BACKREST LOCKING MECHANISM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, A5 CABRIOLET .

-- Remove the release cable -1- from the brackets -arrows- or unclip from the brackets using the :80-200  and cut the cable ties.
