Rear Seat Backrest, Removing And Installing, A5 Cabriolet: Removing

-- Remove the bench seat. Refer to BENCH SEAT/SINGLE SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

CAUTION:

There is a risk of damaging the rear seat backrest.

To reduce the risk of pressure marks in the cover and cushion, the front mounts -arrow- for the bench seat must be covered with the :VAS871001 .

-- Remove the cover -1- for the center support forward in direction of -arrows- from the center support to do this release the rear seat backrest and tip it slightly forward.

-- Fold the rear seat backrests forward.

-- Release the clips -2- from the center support with a screwdriver.

-- At the same time pry out the rear seat backrest -1- from the center support in direction of -arrow A-.

-- Remove the rear seat backrest from the outer mounting in direction of -arrow B- toward the center of the vehicle and then remove it from the vehicle.
