Bench Seat/Single Seat, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Move the front seats all the way forward.

-- Unclip from the guides for the child seat anchor (quantity 4) and from the anchorages. Refer to LOWER CHILD SEAT ANCHOR GUIDE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

A5 Coupe/Sportback:

-- Grab the bench seat -1- under the seat frame -2- using both hands on one side.

-- Using both hands on one side, forcefully pull the bench seat upward in direction of -arrow A- to release the seat frame from the front mount -3-.

-- Repeat the procedure on the other side of the bench seat in direction of -arrow B-.

-- Push the bench seat on the side toward the rear to release the seat frame from the mount.

-- Equipped on some models: disconnect the seat heating connectors.

-- Remove the bench seat.

-- With both hands, grasp the bench seat -1- under the seat frame on a side.

-- Using both hands on one side, forcefully pull the bench seat upward in direction of -arrow A- to release the seat frame from the front mount.

-- Repeat the procedure on the other side of the bench seat in direction of -arrow B-.

-- Fold up the front bench seat and disengage on the backrest frame.

-- Equipped on some models: disconnect the seat heating connectors.

-- Remove the bench seat.
