Before handling pyrotechnic components (for example, disconnecting the connector), the person handling it must "discharge static electricity". For example, this can be done by briefly touching the door striker.

-- Remove the front seat. Refer to FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Fasten the front seat on the :VAS6136 . Refer to FRONT SEAT, MOUNTING ON FIXTURE FOR SEAT REPAIR .

-- Remove the seat side trim on the side sill side. Refer to SEAT SIDE TRIM ON SIDE SILL SIDE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Standard/Sport Seat:

-- Disengage the backrest hinge covers -1 and 2- on the backrest frame -arrows A and B-.

-- Detach the side molding -1 and 3- from the backrest frame.

-- Disengage the upper center molding -2- on the backrest frame.

-- Remove the clips -A and B arrows- on the backrest frame using the :80-200 .

-- Disengage the lower center molding -1- on the backrest frame.

Super Sport Seat:

-- Remove the clips -arrows- on the backrest frame with the :80-200 .

-- Detach the lower molding -1- from the backrest frame.

-- Disengage the molding -2- on the bracket on the backrest frame.

-- Disengage the tab -1- from the cushion and cover from the hooks for the side bolster -2-.

-- Disengage the cover hooks -3- from the backrest frame.

-- Loosen the cover -1- with cushion -2- from the backrest frame and remove carefully under the backrest forward in direction of -arrows-.

-- Carefully pull the cushion in the microswitch area forward as far as possible.

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Remove the bolt -arrow-.

-- Disengage and remove the microswitch -2- for the backrest adjustment.
