1. Bolt
   • 20 Nm
   • The mounting threads and contact surface must be free of paint, coating and corrosion. The threaded connection serves as the ground connection.
   • Quantity: 2
2. Threaded Pin
   • 20 Nm
   • Quantity: 2
3. Lifter
   • Clipped in the crossmember
   • Check the lifter adjusting nut for ease of movement
   • Turn the adjusting nut all the way downward until the adjuster engages in the transportation safeguard
   • Quantity: 2
4. Bolt
   • 20 Nm
   • Quantity: 2
5. Plug
   • Quantity: 2
6. Pop Rivet Nut with Lifter
   • Riveted with the windshield frame
   • Check the lifter adjusting nut for ease of movement
   • Rotate the adjusting nut all the way down but do not tighten it.
   • Quantity: 2
7. Bolt
   • 20 Nm
   • Quantity: 2
8. Crossmember
   • For the instrument panel
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL CROSSMEMBER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
9. Bolt
   • 20 Nm
10. Bolt
    • 20 Nm
    • Quantity: 3
11. Bolt
    • 3.6 Nm
    • For A/C unit
    • Quantity: 5
12. Nut
    • 20 Nm
    • Replace after removing.
    • Quantity: 2

Tightening Specification - Crossmember/A-Pillar Brace

-- Tighten the bolts/nut in the sequence -A, B and C arrows-.

• Bolt -arrow A- = 8 Nm
• Bolt -arrow B- = 3 Nm
• Nut -arrow C- = 20 Nm
