- Always replace after removing.
- Screw-Type Clamp
- 7 Nm
- Always replace after removing.
- Installation position. Refer to Fig 1.

- Catalytic Converter
- Depending on the emissions standard with particulate filter
- Identifying feature of the catalytic converter with particulate filter: with exhaust gas temperature sensor and differential pressure sensor
- Removing and Installing. Refer to CATALYTIC CONVERTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- If the catalytic converter with particulate filter was replaced, perform the listed adaptations in the Guided Functions "01 - Engine electronics, functions" or "0001 - Steps after replacing component" using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
Installation Position of the Screw-Type Clamps for Catalytic Converter
- Angle -α- = 90° ± 15°.
