Camshaft Timing Chain, Removing From Camshafts, Cylinder Bank 1 (Right): Notes

- Electronic Torque Wrench 3-60Nm: VAS6583
- Locking Pins: T03006
- Crankshaft Locking Pin: T40069 (with the engine removed)
- Wrench - 21mm: T40263
- Camshaft Lock: T40264/3
- Adapter: T40314
- Camshaft locking device: T40331
- Camshaft Positioning Tool: T40331/1
- Camshaft Positioning Tool: T40331/5
- : T40331/6
- Bolts: T40331/9
- Socket E24: T90000
- Counter holder: T90001
- Counterholder: T90002
- Torque Wrench Insert - Ring Tool Attachment AF41: VAS261001
NOTE:
For the following procedure the camshaft timing chain remains on the engine.
Camshaft Locking Device: T40331 , Preparing
- The lettering "A" on the : T40331/1 points forward.
- The : T40331/4 and : T40331/5 as well as the washers on the : T40331/9 must be positioned using the alignment pins -arrows-.
-- Tighten the bolts hand-tight.
