Turbocharger, Removing And Installing, 3.0L Engine: Removing

-- Follow the guidelines for clean working conditions. Refer to GUIDELINES FOR CLEAN WORKING CONDITIONS .

Depending on the model, preliminary work may be required. Refer to TURBOCHARGER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [CYMC] .

-- Disconnect the connector -2- for the Oxygen Sensor 1 Before Catalytic Converter -GX10-, then disconnect it from the bracket and free up the wire.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and the coolant line -2 and 4- and oil supply line -3-.

-- Remove the vacuum hose -6- at the same time to not damage it.

-- Disconnect the connector -1- for the Recirculation Valve, Bank 1 -N625-.

-- If installed, disconnect the hose -5- for the EVAP system to do so push the release buttons on both sides.

-- Remove the nuts -3-.

-- Remove the stud bolts -arrows-.

-- Loosen the screw-type clamp -2- and push the left catalytic converter or catalytic converter with particulate filter slightly toward the rear.

-- Remove the nuts -arrows- and stud bolts and remove the turbocharger -1- upward.

-- Remove the clip -arrow- and the oil return line -1-.
