Center Rear Seat Backrest, Removing And Installing, A5 Coupe/SPORTBACK: Removing

-- Remove the right rear seat backrest. Refer to OUTER REAR SEAT BACKREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, A5 COUPE/SPORTBACK .

-- Remove the center cushion downward in direction of -arrows-.

-- Loosen the Velcro fastener -arrow- for the cloth trim.

-- Disengage the hook -3- for the cloth trim.

-- Disengage the cloth trim on the bearing pin -2-.

-- Remove the bolt -1- and remove it together with the bearing bushing.

-- Bend the metal tab -4- for the molding to the side in direction of -arrow-.

-- Free up the release cable.

-- Remove the center rear seat backrest from the hinge pins while pulling the molding out of the guide at the same time.
