Overview - Muffler, 3.0L Engine

  1. Bolt
    • 20 Nm
  2. Bracket
    • For the retaining loop
  3. Retaining Loop
  4. Front Clamping Sleeves
    • Tighten the threaded connections equally to 23 Nm.
    • Before tightening, align the exhaust system without tension. Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION .
    • Installation position. Refer to Figure.
    • Pushed onto the front muffler stop
  5. Center Muffler
  6. Retaining Loop
  7. Bolt
    • 20 Nm
  8. Mount
  9. Nut
    • 23 Nm
    • Always replace after removing.
    • Coat the threads with hot bolt paste. Refer to the Parts Information for the hot bolt paste.
  10. Seal
    • Always replace after removing.
  11. Nut
    • 23 Nm
    • Always replace after removing.
    • Coat the threads with hot bolt paste. Refer to the Parts Information for the hot bolt paste.
  12. Front Muffler
  13. Mount
  14. Bolt
    • 20 Nm
  15. Exhaust Door Control Unit
    • Right Exhaust Door Control Unit -J883-
    • Left Exhaust Door Control Unit 2 -J945-
  16. Nut
    • 3 Nm
    • Always replace after removing.
  17. Rear Muffler
  18. Rear Clamping Sleeve
    • Before tightening, align the exhaust system without tension. Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION .
    • Tighten the threaded connections equally to 23 Nm.
    • For individual replacement of the center and rear mufflers
    • Installation position. Refer to Figure.
