Sealing Flange, Removing And Installing, Belt Pulley Side: Removing

Depending on the model, preliminary work may be required. Refer to SEALING FLANGE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, BELT PULLEY SIDE .

-- Remove the vibration damper. Refer to VIBRATION DAMPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove A/C Compressor bracket. Refer to SUB-ASSEMBLY BRACKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the Oil Pressure Sensor -G10-. Refer to Oil Pressure Sensor -G10-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the oil pan lower section. Refer to OIL PAN LOWER SECTION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolt -arrow- and remove the intake tube -1-.

-- Remove the bolt -2- and remove the oil dipstick tube -1- from the front sealing flange.

-- Disconnect the connector -3- and remove the change-over valve from the bracket -2-.

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and tie up the bracket to the side.

-- Loosen and remove the bolts in the following sequence: -17 to 1-.

-- To loosen the front sealing flange -1- install two M6x30 bolts -arrows- all the way.

-- Install the bolts alternating from side to side ¹ /₂ turn respective until the front sealing flange is loosened.

-- Remove the bolts again and remove the sealing flange and the crankshaft seal.
