Bolt
- 40 Nm
Tensioner
- For the ribbed belt
- Removing and installing. Refer to RIBBED BELT TENSIONER FOR STARTER GENERATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 2.9L / 3.0L ENGINE .
Ribbed Belt
- Check for wear
- Do not kink
- Belt path. Refer to Fig 2.
- Before removing, mark the running direction using chalk or a felt-tip pen.
- Removing and installing. Refer to RIBBED BELT FOR STARTER GENERATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 2.9L ENGINE .
- When installing, make sure it is seated correctly on the belt pulleys
Belt Pulley
- For the coolant pump
Bolt
- Tightening specifications. Refer to OVERVIEW - GENERATOR .
Nut
- Tightening specifications. Refer to OVERVIEW - GENERATOR .
Threaded Pin
- Tightening specifications. Refer to OVERVIEW - GENERATOR .
Starter Generator -C29-
- Removing and installing. Refer to GENERATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Bracket
- For the starter generator
- Removing and installing. Refer to STARTER GENERATOR BRACKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Bolt
- Tightening specification and sequence. Refer to Fig 3.
Alignment Sleeves
Bracket
- For the idler roller
Bolt
- 25 Nm
Idler Roller
- For the ribbed belt
Bolt
- 40 Nm
- Always replace after removing.
Cover
- For the idler roller
Vibration Damper
- Removing and installing. Refer to VIBRATION DAMPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Bolt
- 150 Nm + 90°
- Always replace after removing.
