-- Remove the backrest seat cover and cushion. Refer to BACKREST COVER AND CUSHION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, STANDARD/SPORT SEAT .

-- Equipped on some models: disconnect and free up the connector for the Rear Seat Entertainment System (RSE).

-- A5 Cabriolet, equipped on some models: remove the neck heating blower. Refer to LEFT AND RIGHT NECK HEATING FAN .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Disengage and remove the mount -1- at the hook on the backrest frame.

-- Press the tabs down at the same time in direction of -arrows-.
