Muffler, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Roadster: remove the diagonal brace. Refer to DIAGONAL BRACES, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the tunnel brace. Refer to TUNNEL BRACE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Loosen the threaded connections on the clamping sleeves -1 and 2-.
-- Disconnect the left and right connector -2- from the exhaust door control unit.
WARNING:
Risk of accident due to the heavy weight of the muffler.
- A second technician is required for the following work steps.
-- Disengage the retaining loop -4-.
-- Remove the bolts -1 and 3- and remove the muffler.
