Engine Speed Sensor -G28-, Removing And Installing

Removing

-- Remove the noise insulation (front). Refer to OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION .

-- Open the clip -2- and free up the coolant hose -1- and push to the side.

-- Remove the clip upward from the air duct pipe.

Vehicles with Coolant Valve

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Remove the nuts -arrows- and move the Transmission Coolant Valve -N488- to the side.

All Vehicles

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Remove the bolt -arrow- and remove the Engine Speed Sensor -G28-.

After removing or replacing the engine speed sensor the adaptation values for the chain length must be adapted again.

-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

-- Select Diagnostic  operating mode and Start diagnostics  .

-- Select the Select individual test  tab and select the following tree structure consecutively:
