Overview - Knee Airbag, Driver Side

  1. Driver Knee Airbag Igniter -N295-
    • Removing and installing. Refer to DRIVER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG WITH IGNITER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
      CAUTION:

      There is a risk of causing damage to the surface of the knee airbag due to mechanical stress.

      • After finishing work perform a visual inspection if the surface of the knee airbag especially along the area of the perforation is undamaged.
  2. Attachment Point
    • For the knee airbag
      CAUTION:

      There is a risk of malfunctions do to a faulty ground connection.

      • The counter threaded and contact surface must be free of paint, coating, and corrosion, the threaded connection serves as the ground connection for the knee airbag.
  3. Screw
    • 8 Nm
    • Replace after removing
    • Quantity: 3
  4. Connector
    • For the Driver Knee Airbag Igniter -N295-
